Collection - At the Pace of Hands

Collection Overview — At the Pace of Hands

At the Pace of Hands is a collection shaped by nine months of working alongside craft communities across India. It brings together Kuruba black wool, hand-embroidered textiles from the Siddi community, and handwoven fabrics from the weaving community of Kutch. The aim was to understand what it would take to create a wardrobe made entirely by hand. From spinning the cotton to crafting the brass buttons, while knowing each artisan who contributed. Each piece reflects the pace, precision, and intimacy of handcraft, translated into timeless contemporary forms.

Yellow Twill Jacket – Handwoven in Kutch, embroidered by local artisans, finished with brass buttons made in the region.

Black Wool Jacket – Repurposed from torn kamblis, lined with Kala cotton handwoven in Kutch, and finished with locally cast brass buttons.

Throw Dress – Inspired by the Siddi community’s patchwork tradition, in mul cotton handwoven in Dindigul.

White Shirt and Skirt – Handspun and handwoven cotton from Dindigul, designed with minimal detailing to highlight craftsmanship and natural texture.
